Spread

Derivatives & Futures
An options strategy involving simultaneous purchase and sale of options at different strike prices or expiration dates to limit risk and reduce cost. Spreads limit both profit potential and loss exposure.
Example: A bull call spread buys a call at $100 strike and sells at $110 strike for lower net cost.
