- Alliance is delighted to announce that it has executed an extension of its contract with BHP Olympic Dam Corporation Pty Ltd “BHP Olympic Dam” (ASX: BHP) for a five-year term.
- Alliance owns, operates, and maintains a fleet of 10 jet aircraft based in Adelaide and directly employs 208 staff in Adelaide and Roxby Downs.
- Alliance has been providing services to BHP’s Olympic Dam site continually in South Australia since 2007 and recently moved to an all-jet operation. The Embraer 190 delivers impressive economics, excellent performance, and operational efficiencies, as well as spacious interiors.
- Alliance’s Managing Director Scott McMillan said, “We welcome this further five-year extension of our contract to supply air services between Adelaide and Olympic Dam. Alliance has built a significant presence in South Australia and is proud of the 16 years of uninterrupted services we have provided to BHP Olympic Dam.”
- BHP Acting Asset President Copper SA, Jenny Purdie said, “The long-standing partnership between BHP Olympic Dam and Alliance has supported our workforce to travel safely and reliably to site and created local jobs in Adelaide and Roxby Downs with Alliance. We look forward to continuing to work together.”
